In my the 2nd draft of my work in progress novel I use the epistolary style writing for the first page of every chapter that the Main Characters pov is in . Basically getting in her head more than usually but then I go out of it back into 3rd person. I don’t use it for the whole story but just her POV at the very beginning because she looses her journal .

Do you as other writers feel like this would be confusing for the reader if incorporated throughout the whole novel ? How would you go about writing in this style?
