This weekend I will be diving back into writing the 12 th chapter of my werewolf work in progress novel During the Blue Hour. It will be the 2nd scene and my main character Sirena’s POV after the whole dance scene debacle with Adrian.
Adrian couldn’t stop her from dancing in the last chapter. She was in a trance . I don’t think nothing could break her. I will go into this next scene with Sirena starting to question herself . She basically missed time. The whole thing in the other scene at the end of chapter 11 . She didn’t know she was doing it.
She is already questioning her sanity with the whole not sure she saw werewolves and her friend Gaby in the mountains thing. And now she will start to question her own reality and the truth of who she really is.
In my first draft I wrote that in early on but in this draft I don’t know why I hold off to write it in until these later chapters. She doesn’t even get the time to read her father’s journal yet which reveals all her family’s secrets.
Each time she gets ready to read the journal . She gets distracted in the scene. And now she doesn’t even have the journal. Adrian has it. And he holds all the answers to the truth of her secrets. Even when Cristen had the journal. He didn’t even read the journal.
In this scene she won’t get to read the journal.
She won’t even find out who she is.
She will be hiding and running away. Because her mother kept the promise that she would turn her into Unitus(the human government of my world) if Sirena went to the dance recital. And well she did go and dance. Sirena will get caught sooner or later just not in this scene.
In the mists of the chaos that goes on in this scene she will be found by Eli and they will quickly evade the Spider Agents(police) start their journey into the mountain to find Gabby.
