Since I been working on my drafts I been really intrigued with one of the characters that I wasn’t before. It is the character Mary. She is one of the antagonist of my story and a werewolf who has lived for centuries already. She is not a main pov character . Only a supporting character . However I am working on a short story about her called RED ENVY .
What intrigues me about her is that she will often compare Sirena with herself. And tell Sirena that she will end up like her eventually.
The reason why is that her past is very tragic . And like Sirena didn’t know she was a werewolf at the start of her life. And so throughout the novel it will be hints of her past seen through the eyes of Sirena and Xavier .
Xavier because he is a POV character and he has known Mary all of her life and Sirena because she will have a lot of interactions with her and has to eventually work with her on some level to get what she wants from Mary.
One of the things that will be seen in glimpses of her past is a swing. And a swing is very significant object to Mary’s past and to who she once was.
This moreover will make her an important character throughout my novel.
